About Ministry of External Affairs
The Ministry of External Affairs of India is the government agency responsible for maintaining India's foreign relations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Cabinet Minister.
The province represents the Government of India through the Embassy and is also responsible for representing India in the United Nations and other international organizations. It also advises other ministries and states on foreign governments and agencies.
About MEA Internship
As part of the celebration of Azadi-ka-amrit-mahotav who commemorates the independence of 75 years, the external division starts the first issue of the MEA internship program.
MEA 2022 Internship policy aims to have a diplomatic policy from the following population: MEA attracts more attention. In addition, more value for apprenticeship is provided. Perks
Each intern receives a stipend of INR 10,000 per month to help with living expenses. Eligibility Criteria
- Internships at MEA headquarters are generally intended for Indians who have a graduation degree from an recognized university at the time of application.
- The internship is now open to students in the final year.
- You must not be over 25 years old as of December 31st of the internship year.

Selection Procedure
The entire application and selection process is done digitally at www.internship.mea.gov.in. To participate in the process, interested and eligible candidates must first register on the internship portal and obtain access information. Initial screening and personal interview are two stages of the selection process. The application process is based on a quota weighting system, with applications from all 28 states and eight union regions. At least 30% of the 75 coaching positions must be held by women. Academic achievement is weighted on the basis of percentage of marks scored in +2 plus exam.
