FOSSEE Semester Long Internship 2022

FOSSEE invites applications for a semester long internship in 2022. Students have the opportunity to work with FOSSEE for one semester. This is a remote internship with ongoing support and mentoring. So you need to complete at least one of the tracking tasks. The selection will be based solely on the evaluation criteria of each selection task.

About FOSSEE Internship at IIT Bombay

FOSSEE Project IIT Bombay invites you to apply for an internship in semester 2022. Students have the opportunity to work with FOSSEE for one semester. Remote internships that provide ongoing support and mentorship. To be included in the list of internship applicants, please select your project and decision-making position from the table at the link https://fossee.in/semester-long-internship/2022. Next, you must perform one or more triage tasks. The selection will depend solely on the evaluation criteria for each task. FOSSEE (Free Open Source Software for Education) is a project developed at IIT Mumbai and funded by the National Education Mission through Information and Communication Technologies (NMEICT), Ministry of Education. , Government of India

Important Dates

Registration starts on  26 January 2022
Submission start on  28 January 2022
Registration and submission end date on  25 February 2022
Result Declaration 7 March 2022
Internship Starts from 14 March 2022

Registration and selection steps

  • To register, select a project from the table below and fill out this form to register.
  • Assignments are assessed by experts/trainers from the FOSSEE team.
  • After assessment, the best submitted works will be selected. The results of the selected trainees are shown on the website.
  • Interns have the flexibility to work full-time (8 hours per day) or part-time (4 hours per day) during the internship. Selected internships must send a scanned and signed copy of the NOC to the institute's president. The NOC form must be submitted to the intern selected by the registered email address.
  • The final intern will only be selected after submitting the NOC. If each intern does not submit a NOC, there is a chance for the next intern on the waiting list.

Note: At the end of the training period, you can receive an astronomical reward based on the quality of your work.

      Rules and regulations

      • The name of the selected trainee will be displayed on the FOSSEE website. Alternatively, you will also receive an email regarding your selection with the registered email ID.
      • Selected interns must submit a NOC duly signed by the facility director to confirm their selection and participate in a one-semester FOSSEE internship.
      • After the start of the internship, each intern will evaluate the quality and quantity of work each week. If you are unsatisfied with the job, you can withdraw your internship offer at any time.
