Microsoft started batch internship/freshman recruitment for UI/UX design internship positions/roles in 2022 and 2023 with a monthly salary of 80k. They aim to hire talented students and professionals.
About The Microsoft Design Challenge 2022
- Cooperation is one of the fundamental drivers of human progress. Collaboration is essential for people of all ages, backgrounds and media.
- Learning There have been significant changes in the field of teaching and learning. Existing processes suddenly failed and existing technologies failed to understand the basic needs of the industry.
- Let's face luxury. We're not made to stare at screens for hours on end (except, of course, to binge-watch this new show on Netflix on Friday nights). Meeting weariness has an impact on our mental and physical well-being, as well as our productivity. Attention is in short supply. The longer you spend on anything, the less likely you are to complete it.
- Security As “hybrid work” grows more common and we spend more time online collaborating, learning, and conversing, we leave a trail and expose information about ourselves, our devices, networks, and applications to numerous risks. Furthermore, we expose ourselves to online contacts that may have negative consequences for us and those involved. As a result, people are intimidated and distrustful of the technology they are using.
Steps to participate in the Microsoft Free Internship

- Step 1: Sign Up
- Step 2: Submit your application before February 18, 2022.
- Step 3: Winners will be selected on 10th March 2022.
- Step 4: Submit your work on March 20, 2022.
What to include in your design:
- Description of the proposed solution.
- Focus and impact of problem areas/solutions.
- Innovation - Unique Problem Solving.
- Scenarios that map solutions to users' lives.
- Final design with precise flow and strainer.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to individuals only
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of application
- Active registration as a student at an accredited educational institution in India is required
- Only one entry is allowed
- Incomplete posts will be disqualified
- Interns and current employees of Microsoft Corporation or its affiliates are not eligible
