About DRDO
The Defense Research and Development Organization is the principal agency of the Defense Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Government of India, responsible for military research and development, and is headquartered situated in Delhi, India.
DRDO was formed in 1958 through the merger of the Indian Army Technical Development Facilities (TDEs) and Technical Development and Production Authority (DTDP) with the Defense Science Organization (DSO). At that time, DRDO was a small organization with 10 branches or laboratories. Over the years, the number of labs, the number of labs, the services, and the situation have grown in many ways.

DRDO has launched free internship training with a scholarship. DRDO is India's leading R & D organization and stands for the world's largest Defense Research and Development Organization. Since its inception on November 1, 1958, it has focused on developing unique technologies to meet the various needs of the country.
DRDO consists of 52 laboratories and centers nationwide. Over the years, DRDO has successfully carried out a wide range of activities, including aerospace development, weapons, electronics, information and information technology, simulation, and modeling. DRDO has also established several world-class laboratories in frontier areas of technologies such as hypersonic, high-energy materials, artificial intelligence, robotics, biotechnology, and advanced systems. DRDO's capabilities are used extensively by various other organizations such as the Coast Guard, the Delhi Police, and the BSF.
Application Process
- Before applying, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility and other criteria mentioned in the advertisement.
- B.E/B. Tech and Diploma holders should register their names at http://mhrdnats.gov.in. Unregistered applicants may be rejected.
- Applications should be submitted online through the website link: http://rac.gov.in or http://drdo.gov.in. Applicants must complete all fields with accurate information, as well as upload scanned copies of all required documents.
- Applicants should bring a signed hard copy of the application form along with the original documents submitted online when joining CHESS in Hyderabad. Bookings in SC / ST / OBC / PWD / EWS are subject to the provisions of the 1961 Internship Act, the 1992 Internship Act, and the 2015 (Modified) Internship Act.
- Deadline: Online applications will not be accepted after the 21 deadlines from the date of the job advertisement.
